Health & Safety Statement 

Proprietors Responsibilities are to;


1. Maintain the premises fully to all BSA, FSAI & HSA regulations standards. 


2. Provide direction guidelines of usage for shared use compliance within HSE & HSA guidelines. 


Share Users Responsibilities are to;

1. Be trained and knowledgeable to a sufficient level in HACCP, and to adhere to all  HACCP & FSAI guidelines as a responsible food operator. 

2. Adhere to all health and safety procedures, as an independent operator, as per HSA  guidelines, including lifting and particularly to wear non slip shoes at all times. 

3. Not engage in aggressive, disrespectful or hateful interaction, nor engage in dangerous or reckless behavior in any way, including being intoxicated from drugs or alcohol. Never bring an animal or toxic material into the premises, or anything else that would affect a safe food safe environment. 

4. Be competent and trained to use the equipment, and that any person there under their supervision is also trained and competent, and that all risk and liability is understood and accepted, indemnifying the proprietor from any responsibility or liability from the independent users usage. Also never forcing or misusing equipment in any way. 

5. Report any issues with the fixt & fits or equipment, fabric of the building, pest activity or any other issue that may affect use of the facilities as safe food safe production unit, and not to operate in any hazardous conditions to themselves or their produce. 

6. Be fully responsible for any liability arising from their usage or related persons on site, as an independent operator.  

7. Understand that this is a zero tolerance HACCP facility for the protection of the Health and Safety of the general public.

8. Be aware of the nearest emergency exit and fire fighting/ first aid equipment in place.

 

Compliance with health and safety regulations: Commercial kitchens in Galway undergo regular inspections and maintenance to guarantee compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
